Our Mission

The mission of the Environmental Health committee is to explore the connection between environmentalism and human health. Our initiatives aim to give the UA campus and Tucson community a better understanding of the impacts that environmental change have on the health and well-being of our communities. This includes issues such as climate change, water and air pollution, disease transmission, and food security. The committee seeks to implement change in how we perceive our health and integrate health into all sustainability conversations.

Within the committee, the members will collaborate together and with other UA organizations to develop projects that address this intersection and increase the public understanding of these crucial topics. We hope to work toward solving environmental health issues at the UA campus and increase awareness among students and the Tucson community.
